Pay people.
Not addresses.
Slip is a self-custodial wallet that behaves like a payment app. Pick a contact, pick an amount, send — chains, gas and swaps stay out of your way.
Three taps, and one of them is the amount.
Pick a person
A contact, a QR code, or any standard wallet address. Nothing to copy, nothing to paste.

Pick an amount
In your own currency. Slip works out what has to move underneath to make that number true.
That's the whole thing
Slip picks the route, does any swap inside the payment, and hands you a receipt written in words.
Built for the way you already pay.
Split a bill at dinner. Pay a designer on the other side of the world. Cash out to your bank when you want it there.
Send by contact, QR or address — the recipient doesn't need Slip to get paid
Cross-border payments that cost cents, not 6.4%
Cash out through regulated local partners, wherever you are
Pay a phone number without publishing one.
A number from your contacts is enough to pay someone. It never leaves your phone in a form anyone else can read — and the link between that number and a wallet stays between the two of you.
It's blinded on your phone
The number is turned into a one-way token before anything is sent. Nothing that leaves the device can be turned back into digits.
The lookup matches tokens, not people
The service answering can't tell whose number it just handled, can't keep a usable copy, and can't assemble a directory out of the traffic it sees.
Their wallet answers, not a database
The recipient's own wallet authorises a one-time destination for this payment. That's what stops a phone number from ever becoming a reusable, public address.
How private is this payment?
Slip puts the answer on the payment screen, before you send. There are four levels, and each one covers something different.
Amount, timing and funding behaviour are a harder problem, and one we're still working on. Until an independent audit says otherwise, these are words we don't use:
Your keys. Your phone. No seed phrase to lose.
Seedless recovery
Get back in with the things you already control — no twelve words written on paper in a drawer.
Protected first payments
A number that changes hands can't quietly inherit trust. The recipient's wallet authorises the destination, not a directory.
Receipts in plain words
Pending, settled, refunded, contested — stated the same way every time, for both sides.
Works with your other wallets
Slip is a wallet, not an account. Move funds out to any address, any time, without asking us.
The short answers.
No. You pick a person and an amount. Slip handles assets, chains, gas and swaps underneath — the words only appear in the receipt, where they're useful.
You recover without a seed phrase. Slip is self-custodial, so recovery is designed around factors you hold rather than a support team who can reset your account — and nobody at Slip can move your money.
No. There is no public directory mapping numbers to wallets. Lookups are blinded, and every payment lands on a one-time destination, so nothing accumulates a public history.
Not if they already have a wallet — send to any standard address or a QR code. If they're on Slip, you can just pick them from your contacts.
The fee and the exchange rate are quoted before you send, and the quote binds the exact amount. No monthly fee, no yield taken on your balance, no selling your data.
Not yet — Slip is still being built, and it goes through an independent security review before it holds real money. Leave your email and we'll tell you the day it's ready.
